Proposal
For this project i want to create a set of images based around the idea of appearance. For this i will create a set of three narrative images. The models for these images will be made to look as though they are dressed up, with there hair done but i'm going to take away any makeup and using lighting that makes it clear that there makeup has been taken away, making them look rough. i want to produce images that have been taken in the studio in the style Hedi Slimane using bright lighting with very harsh shadows to create a lot of contrast on the models face. Through making this high contrast i am hopping to create a very gritty looking images. To product these images i will set up a variety of photo shoots changing the model each time so that each image has a different person. To keep the image look like a set i will use the same lighting setups for each shoot, using the same equipment, where possible, to keep the same aesthetic to my images.
