One Studio, So Many Uses.

The studio can be used for many different types of photography, waether it involoves portraiture or still life. In our lesson we looked at the different ways the studio can be used, the types of photography that is used in the studio as well as the charactierists of the photography.

For this lesson i found that the following types of photography can be used in the studio:

PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY
-The main subject of this type of photography is a product or object rather than a person.
-The lighting set up used for this format of photography is high key or low key lighting which gives a clean look to the back ground, as well as making it all one colour.
-Lighting gives clean background which elimates distractions in the image that could draw the eye away from the product.
-The main product tends to be the only subject or object in the image.

                                


FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY
-Been taking place in the studio for a very long time
-Contains a main subjects which tends to be a person
-Could be classed as a form of product photography but it contains a person
-Can used many different forms of lighting
-High Key is mainly related to fashion.

HAIR AND BEAUTY PHOTOGRAPHY
-Photographers work closely with hair and makeup artists.
-Tightly cropped close up shots of subjects face to display the models hair, makeup and face.
-Mainly seen on consmetics counters and beauty magaznines.
-Similar lighting setups to fashion photography
